Be a volunteer. We need both equine specialists and organizers.
Equine specialists know horse behavior and can predict
what will happen before it does. You will work with the clients to keep them
safe. You must demonstrate that you can handle the horses in the manner that
DayStar Ranch promotes (we are not a competitive rodeo; our horses are calm gentle companions). Training is available from current host ranches.
Organizers keep us going: volunteer coordinators, manpower, fundraising, grant writing, and paper flow. DayStar Ranch cannot grow and improve without you.
Sponsor a DayStar Ranch
event.
DayStar Ranch enjoys participating
at Children Fairs around the area and your sponsorship helps us continue to make this happen. We also hold special events
at our host ranches for different community groups and would love your involvement.
Wish to become
a host ranch?
Contact us and come out to see what we do.
Then we will go to you to see what you can do and we will work together to make it happen.
Wish to foster a DayStar Ranch horse?
Occasionally DayStar Ranch accepts donated horses. Some do not have the temperment
or training yet to participate with our clients and the current host ranches may not have the room for a new comer.
Thats when we need your help. If you wish to volunteer your time, care, food and board for a potential special needs
horse contact us and come out to see what we do. Then we will go to you to see what you can do and we will work together
to make it happen.
